USELESS!

So..... A package is coming they said. It requires a signature, it said. Sign now (online) they said. (Funny, I thought the idea was to prove they actually handed you the pkg, but, guess not!) BUT.... My address didnt work My username wasnt available (it WAS the first two times, when some other problem was preventing registering), then.... Facebook sign-on wouldnt work. And.... Id have to use my UPS ID (the one I dont have & didnt want to bother with...now I know why!) So I registered for a UPS ID and got this stupid APP.....Went back to the original email and tapped SIGN NOW". And......the pop up said.... "The package isnt addressed to you, the addressee has to sign for it!" Do you REALLY THINK I used an ALIAS when I signed up? NO! The names are identical! The damned UPS man can bloody well sit on the stoop until I get back from my 4PM appointment on the day of delivery. You people are asinine!

Useless

On a 6th gen iPod, the application simply doesnt work. I try to open it and I get a black screen.

UPS is very frustrating

This review is more for the service than the app. Why anyone would use this frustrating service is beyond me. Lately, packages shipped to me via UPS have been transferred to the post office, thereby delaying delivery by 1-2 days. Today, I received a delivery notice. I called the number to request they hold it at the service center, which is 2 mins from my office, so I could pick it up first thing in the morning. They refused citing some clause in the shippers contract. Instead, they are going to put it on a truck and deliver it to some satellite location across town, delaying delivery by at least another day. How asinine! Why would the shipper care where I picked up the package from and why is that even an option? Use Fed-Ex instead, theyre cheaper and not so difficult to work with.

Blank Screen

This App opens to s blank screen, this problems ha sbeen reported many times, and as of yet no update, as a result I rate this app as a -100

Will not open after update

I like the app but now its just a black screen on my 5th Gen iPod touch. Ive reinstalled twice. No biggie, I can track from emai links

Good Service

I am surprised at all the negative reviews. I have received packages through UPS for years; Ive never had a problem. The delivery is always on the date and within the time frame theyve guaranteed. The delivery person is always friendly and polite. The only aspect of UPS delivery about which I have an issue is the fact that UPS charges a fee if I want to change the delivery time. I think UPS wants to discourage people from changing their times of delivery so UPS can maintain its schedule. Otherwise, I think UPS is great.

Does Nothing

App opens to the UPS logo and then goes to a black screen. The end. Thats the full functionality of the app.

Fails to Open

D/Ld to my iPod Gen 5. App opened to a black screen and thats all! Deleted and repeated with the same result. Great company! Useless app.

Solid Service

Been working very well ever since I started using the app a few weeks ago. Display easy to understand and notifications work well to keep you updated.

Hit Or Miss

I have used this app to track a few packages. One successful delivery. I cannot blame UPS for an error made by the seller. On the other hand I expect more out of UPS. I have had items shipped in the past through UPS and I was impressed initially with their frequent scan updates. What puzzles me regarding my last package was the site claimed my package was en route on a UPS truck for delivery in my town at 4:30 am, but it did not get delivered until 5:20 pm. I could have picked my package up from their warehouse in a more timely manner. We shall see how these next few items are shipped and tracked. I will keep you posted if I can write another review.

Defunct

The app shows only a black screen. Has this not been tested before (iPod touch)?!

Useless. Cant paste a tracking number.

Useless for tracking packages. Doesnt allow me to paste from clipboard, doesnt auto detect that I have a tracking number already there. Other apps do, deleting this and moving on.

Great

So far so good , this app give me feeling Im tracking my package from my own company, I can do everything I get updates for everything, i can inform and modify and change my shipments easily anytime

Horrible App

App is crap- cant modify user info, wont let txt message updates go to phone number used to set up USER ID. Really bad app, I have never written a review of an app that was this negative but this app was just horrible.

DO NOT USE FOR SIGNATURE RELEASE

Have never had problems with delivers items to my front door. (Apartment in a hallway indoors) I sign a release for no signature through the app and pow! Item delivered but not at my door. Cant file a complaint or a claim because I authorized no signature, seems to me a perfect opportunity for items to disappear without any problems if you wanted to be dishonest . Im done with UPS

Still broken blank screen

This app has been broken for months. It used to load with no problems and now it opens to a blank black screen that stays blank no matter how long you wait for it to load. Useless and deleted until UPS can fix it. Clearly their mobile app developers have no clue what theyre doing. On iTouch 5 with latest iOS.

Worthless App

I give this app 0 stars because it is worthless. Several updates caused the inability to scroll to current deliveries using my iphone. I contacted tech support appx 6 months ago, problem escalated to "top tier" support and corresponded via email with them for several weeks with no correction nor explanation. The tech didnt even have an iphone to test app and was attempting to resolve the issue with an iPad and couldnt recreate the problem of inability to scroll. (no surprise). The tech didnt seem to think there was a problem and I suggested he take a look at reviews on the apple app site. I can no longer utilize the app and must access delivery updates via website from my iphone. Worthless app and worthless tech support.
